Typotronics achieves CCI-Triad certification

Expands its "Research Once... Publish Anywhere" objective

ST. LOUIS, Missouri, April 27, 2000 - Typotronics Inc. is pleased to announce today that they have achieved certification under CCI/Traid's Strategic Development Partner Program. In its on-going effort to improve the timeliness of manufacturer's catalog publications to the Aftermarket, CCI/Triad created the Strategic Development Partner Program.

The partner program is designed to assist manufacturers in moving toward an internal database environment for the purposes of product management and catalog production. While larger manufacturers have the in-house expertise and resources to map to CCI/Triad Valid Tables, many do not. "Manufacturers have asked us who they can turn to for help in mapping directly to our valid tables," said Ron Larson, Manager of Manufacturer Services for CCI/Triad. "We want to make sure that we are recommending the type of Catalog Management System provider that can serve all of a manufacturer's needs and present more of a 'total solution'. This means their system should be capable of providing multiple forms of output in either paper or electronic form. It is our intention to work very closely with our Development Partners to share information and offer technical assistance to assure their manufacturer customers' catalogs are released in a timely manner."

Objectives of the Strategic Development Partner Program fit well with IntelliPart^®, the integrated marketing and catalog data management software currently available from Typotronics.
